Assistant Residential Manager

Description As an Assistant Residential Manager at Devereux, you will assist individuals with activities of daily living and help develop, implement, and evaluate overall residential operations at the Pocono Center in Newfoundland, PA. You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Significant and frequent walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and standing. Planned outside activities with exposure to sunlight and heat. Adequate vision and hearing for communication. Good manual dexterity. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, management, or a related health field, OR at least three years of experience in a residential treatment setting and a high school diploma or GED. Minimum of two years experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Six months supervisory experience. Valid driver’s license. Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and sense of humor. Strong passion for working with children and adults with special needs.
