PRN Pharmacist – Wisconsin (On-Call & Weekend Coverage)
We're seeking a licensed Wisconsin Pharmacist to join our team on an as-needed basis, providing weekend, PTO, and after-hours pharmacy coverage. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking for flexible scheduling and additional income through on-call pay.
Sign-On Bonus
- $1,000 bonus after 30 days on payroll
Schedule
- PRN/As Needed
- Two scheduled weekend shifts per month (4-week rotation)
- Weekend hours: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
- Weekday hours: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
- On-call: 3–4 evenings per week
- Weekdays: 6:00 PM–10:00 AM
- Weekends: 4:00 PM–12:00 PM
Compensation
- $75 per on-call shift
- Additional $75 for each dispensing call while on call
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage
- Monitor medication compliance and ensure safe, effective therapy
- Maintain accurate pharmacy and patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Compound medications as needed (non-sterile compounding preferred)
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Maintain medication inventory and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Experience with after-hours or on-call pharmacy coverage preferred
- Non-sterile compounding experience preferred
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in an on-call environment
