Nurse Practitioner

Sub‑Acute, Long‑Term Care is a sector of healthcare exploding with potential and work‑life balance flexibility (no on call or weekends). We are seeking a Full‑Time (30–40 hours per week) provider for our Pocahontas Center located in Marlinton, WV. This position can be filled by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. New graduate NPs are welcome to apply; new graduate PAs are not eligible. The base salary range is $110,000–$125,000 per year, with a no‑cap incentive compensation bonus program. Responsibilities The Advanced Practice Provider reports directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager. The Advanced Practice Provider collaborates on‑site with the Center Leadership Team for center‑specific goals and priorities. The Advanced Practice Provider collaborates with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient‑specific medical care. The Advanced Practice Provider provides primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with other medical providers in the center. The Advanced Practice Provider works collaboratively with Center Leadership to achieve AlignMed Partners’ mission of improving the lives we touch through the delivery of high‑quality health care and everyday compassion. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program, licensed as a registered nurse, and certified as a Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Preferred concentrations are Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner, though other concentrations may be considered based on experience and business need. Physician Assistant must graduate from a program accredited by the ARC‑PA, pass the PANCE, hold PA state licensure, and have NCCPA certification. A minimum of two years experience working with adult or geriatric populations is preferred. In states where practice allows, an unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state in which the provider practices. Certain qualifications and experiences may be considered for new graduate NPs; new graduate PAs will not be considered for this role.
