Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThai Cook / Line Cook – Thai KitchenThai Kitchen in Ames, Iowa is looking for a reliable and hardworking Thai Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook Thai dishes according to restaurant recipes and standardsWork efficiently on the line during busy lunch and dinner periodsPrepare ingredients, sauces, vegetables, meats, and other food itemsMaintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentationKeep the kitchen and work station clean and organizedFollow food safety and sanitation proceduresAssist with opening and closing kitchen dutiesWork closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team membersHelp with food prep, inventory, and kitchen organization as neededQualifications:Previous cooking or restaurant kitchen experience preferredExperience cooking Thai or Asian cuisine is a plus, but we are willing to train the right personAble to work in a fast-paced environmentReliable, responsible, and punctualAble to work well as part of a teamWilling to learn and follow restaurant recipes and proceduresMust be able to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of kitchen workSchedule:Full-time or part-time positions may be available.Must be available for some evenings and weekends.Pay:Competitive pay based on experience.Location:Thai KitchenAmes, IowaIf you are interested, please contact us to schedule an interview.
