Enjoy excellent work-life balance with minimal overtime.Job DescriptionSenior Legal Billing Specialist OverviewThe Senior Legal Billing Specialist will oversee billing operations for complex client relationships at a leading law firm.Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, adhering to client guidelines and fee arrangements.Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and clients to resolve billing issues and maintain confidentiality.Provide mentorship and training to new and junior billing staff, fostering team efficiency.Utilize advanced tools like 3E, eBilling HUB, and vendor sites for streamlined billing processes.Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and policy discussions within the billing department.Maintain administrative responsibilities including updates, submissions, and appeals effectively.Enjoy a collaborative environment with excellent work-life balance and minimal overtime.Senior Legal Billing Specialist Key Responsibilities & DutiesGenerate and edit Proformas, create timecard summaries, and update matter and timekeeper rates.Ensure monthly invoice accuracy and timeliness, resolving billing issues proactively.Implement client guidelines and fee arrangements, ensuring compliance and efficiency.Process electronic invoices, resolving rejections and reductions promptly.Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and clients to provide excellent service and maintain confidentiality.Assist in training and mentoring new employees and junior staff.Handle billing operations for complex client relationships, advising attorneys on billing matters.Participate in special assignments, pilot programs, and process improvements.Senior Legal Billing Specialist Job RequirementsMinimum five years of billing experience, preferably in a law or professional services firm.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including advanced Excel features.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent customer service orientation.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.Experience with 3E, eBilling HUB, and vendor sites is advantageous.Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and confidence in handling billing processes.High school diploma or GED required, with advanced education preferred.
