Resident Experience Associate (Activities) Full Time Activities Associate for Resident Experience at VillageCare, a community‑based, not‑for‑profit organization serving seniors and individuals with chronic care needs. This onsite role is located at 510 West 46th Street, New York, NY 10036. Hourly Pay : $31.89 – $35.88 per hour We are looking for a recreational expert who will create meaningful moments for residents in our Assisted Living Facility by planning, organizing, and facilitating engaging activities and events. Responsibilities Develop and implement a diverse range of activities for residents and in the local community. Ensure the recreation program complies with Department of Health regulations and meets the unique needs and interests of residents. Organize off‑site excursions and facilitate in‑house leisure programs. Maintain a vibrant calendar of activities and ensure recreational spaces are well‑equipped and welcoming. Coordinate volunteers and manage activity schedules using computer applications (spreadsheets, word processing, database software). Promote a culture of customer satisfaction and service excellence, fostering strong family connections, friendships, and engagement in recreational and social pursuits. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with residents in a similar facility. Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to plan and execute diverse recreational programs. Proficiency in computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, and database software. Must live in NJ/NY/CT.
