Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Rhode Island (or eligibility for licensure)
• Prior experience in a school-based OT role preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation
• Ability to conduct assessments and create individualized intervention plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both children and adults
• Compassionate and patient approach to working with diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ functional abilities
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate strategies into the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation as required
• Provide direct therapy services and recommend adaptive equipment when needed
• Maintain detailed therapy records and progress reports
• Support families with education and guidance related to student needs
