Hospital Oncology Pharmacist in Aurora, CO

Job Description

An outpatient/ambulatory infusion pharmacist opportunity is available on a 13-week contract in Aurora, CO, starting September 28. The shift is 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Review, dispense, and verify orders for hazardous and non-hazardous medications used in oncology and infusion treatments.
Ensure safe and accurate preparation and distribution of infusion medications to patients.
Utilize EPIC EMR system to manage medication orders and documentation.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care in an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of infusion pharmacy experience; oncology/chemotherapy experience strongly preferred.
Current Colorado pharmacist license in good standing.
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
Capability to work onsite in Aurora, CO (local candidates preferred).

This contract assignment offers a focused role within a respected hospital outpatient pharmacy division, handling specialized infusion therapies in oncology.
