Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL (100% Onsite)
Pay Range: $33/HR – $36/HR (Based on experience & qualifications)

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a  Human Resources Generalist for a well-established and growing manufacturing organization. This is a contract opportunity covering an extended medical leave, with an expected duration of 3+ months and the potential to extend longer .

 

The Human Resources Generalist will support a variety of HR functions, with a  primary focus on running full-cycle payroll through ADP Workforce Now for approximately 160 employees, along with FMLA administration, benefits support, HRIS reporting, and general HR administration.

Hands-on experience actually running payroll through ADP Workforce Now is REQUIRED for this position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Run full-cycle payroll through ADP Workforce Now for approximately 80 salaried and 80 hourly employees.
• Process and maintain FMLA paperwork and leave documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, time-off tracking, HRIS data, and related documentation.
• Generate HR reports and provide day-to-day administrative support.
• Assist with benefits administration and salary grid processes.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and other employee lifecycle activities.
• Communicate HR processes, policies, and updates to employees and management.
• Partner with employees and managers regarding HR policies and workplace questions.
• Assist with HR documentation, job descriptions, and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximize the use of  ADP Workforce Now .
• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and assist with additional HR projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Human Resources experience required.
• MUST have hands-on experience running full-cycle payroll specifically through ADP Workforce Now.
• General ADP experience without hands-on ADP Workforce Now payroll experience will  not meet the requirement.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with confidential payroll and employee information.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a collaborative HR team.
• Union payroll experience is nice to have.
• Bachelor's degree or related HR/accounting education is nice to have.
