Restaurant Manager

Noodle Express – Hayden, Idaho
$24–$26/hour | Full-Time | Approximately 40–45 hours/week

Noodle Express in Hayden is looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager who understands that great restaurant leadership happens on the floor, with the team.

This is not a sit-in-the-office management position. On any given day, you might be coaching an employee through a busy rush, jumping on the cooking line, helping at the register, checking prep, reviewing inventory, placing an order, interviewing a candidate or working on next week's schedule.

If you understand restaurant operations, enjoy working alongside a team and are ready to take real ownership of both the restaurant and the people in it, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll have meaningful responsibility for both the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and the team that makes it successful.

You'll help lead all areas of the restaurant, including:

• Leading and supporting employees during busy shifts
• Cooking and understanding all stations on the line
• Cashiering and helping deliver a great guest experience
• Overseeing prep and making sure the restaurant is ready for each shift
• Creating effective employee schedules
• Managing inventory and placing product orders
• Monitoring product levels, food quality and basic restaurant cost controls
• Recruiting, interviewing and hiring team members
• Training, coaching and developing employees
• Addressing employee performance and workplace concerns
• Making staffing and employment decisions in partnership with the General Manager and HR
• Maintaining cleanliness, food safety and operational standards
• Troubleshooting problems and keeping shifts running smoothly
• Helping build a strong, dependable team and a positive restaurant culture

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands restaurants from the ground up.

You may already be a restaurant manager, or you may be a strong shift leader, kitchen leader or assistant manager who's ready for the next step. Either way, you should be comfortable getting your hands dirty, making decisions and leading by example.

Our ideal candidate:

• Has solid restaurant experience and understands both front- and back-of-house operations
• Is confident working on a cooking line and in a prep kitchen
• Understands inventory, ordering and basic restaurant cost control
• Has experience leading employees and is ready to take greater ownership of hiring, coaching, performance and team development
• Communicates clearly and treats people with respect
• Can make good decisions in a busy, fast-moving environment
• Is dependable, organized and willing to take ownership
• Enjoys working with people and helping employees grow
• Wants to continue developing as a restaurant leader

We're not looking for someone who wants to stand on the sidelines and "manage." We're looking for someone who wants to lead a restaurant.

Pay & Schedule

$24–$26 per hour, depending on experience

This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40–45 hours per week. 

Restaurant management requires schedule flexibility, including a combination of days, evenings and weekends.
