With deep industry experience, Botanics Wholesale focuses on discovery, innovation, and consistent availability. Role Description The Sales Specialist is an on-site role based in Homestead, FL. This role is responsible for supporting our Sales Manager in overseeing and growing a portfolio of customers, including landscape architects, designers, garden centers, and other green industry clients. Day-to-day activities include conducting product consultations (providing photos, specs, etc.), sourcing brokered plant materials, preparing estimates, and following up to close sales. The Sales Specialist will provide knowledgeable guidance on plant selection and availability while ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries. Qualifications Passion for plants, including palms and cycads as well as tropical, native and fruit trees. Strong interest the South Florida landscape industry and nursery community. Great Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, understand client needs, and provide responsive support. Previous sales experience in horticulture, agriculture, landscaping, or a related industry is highly preferred. Comfort with using CRM tools (Quickbooks), email, and basic office software to track activities and manage customer information. Ability to work on-site in Homestead, FL, including regular outdoor work in nursery and fields. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in horticulture, business, or a related field is a plus. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
