Job Description Job Description About the Role Lawson Law Firm PC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our boutique personal injury practice in Lawrenceville, GA. The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working as a personal injury paralegal. The candidate must be a self-starter who is highly motivated, reliable, seeking stability and career growth, friendly and personable with clients, and trustworthy. The candidate must be able to manage all aspects of a personal injury case from intake to closure, provide detailed reports to management, be organized, and possess great knowledge of our cases. Candidate must be a team player. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case preparation, legal research, and document drafting Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and client records Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents under attorney supervision Coordinate and schedule client meetings, depositions, and court appearances Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel File documents with courts electronically and in person as needed Oversee and organize the medical treatment, including records and bills for clients Be proficient in Filevine or have experience in a similar personal injury case management system Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field preferred Prior internship or experience in a law firm or legal setting is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Familiarity with legal research tools and court filing procedures is a plus Professional demeanor with a client-focused attitude About Us Lawson Law Firm PC is a boutique personal injury law firm, with a heavy emphasis on litigation.
