Inventory Specialist

Inventory SpecialistThe Inventory Specialist's primary responsibility will be conducting physical inventory at each of the company's locations yearly. This may be individually or part of the inventory team. Secondary responsibilities will include merchandising of company stock rooms, training location parts clerks, and assistance with inventory compliance via company reporting.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms physical inventories at company locations individually with the assistance of the inventory teamInventory merchandising and stockroom resets.Training parts clerks on company standards, inventory processes, and RF ScannersPrepare inventory reporting along with assisting with complianceAssist with Warehouse OperationsOther duties as assignedQualificationsExcellent and precise data entry and typing skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WordGood organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independentlyTravel50-75%Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredSome data entry experience preferredDynamics 365 experience preferred, not requiredPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
