Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear explanations and compassionate support.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, quickly addressing any technical issues that arise.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records in our electronic medical system.
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practice standards.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.

Skills Needed

• Strong technical aptitude in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning.
