We are building DuraFleet Miami West and are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager – Fleet Services to help grow the business from the ground up. Internally, this position is titled Sales & Service Manager. The Role This is more than a traditional outside sales role. The Sales & Service Manager combines business development, customer relationship ownership, and operational coordination. Your mission is simple: build a profitable book of commercial fleet customers, ensure they receive excellent service, and turn those relationships into recurring revenue. This is a field-based position serving the Miami-Dade area. You will work from home when performing administrative work, with regular travel to customer and prospect locations throughout the DuraFleet Miami West territory. Especially during the launch phase, a significant part of your time will be spent prospecting, calling, visiting fleet operators, and developing new customer relationships. What You’ll Do Sales & Business Development Prospect and develop new commercial fleet accounts through outbound calling, field visits, networking, referrals, and other lead-generation activities. Understand customer needs, develop service proposals, and close new business. Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with prospective customers. Maintain an active sales pipeline and disciplined follow-up process. Identify opportunities to grow revenue and profitability. Account Management & Growth Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers. Develop long-term customer relationships and convert one-time service calls into recurring maintenance relationships. Develop preventive maintenance programs and service agreements. Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts. Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve service issues quickly and professionally. Service Coordination & Operations Coordinate service scheduling, job status updates, customer communication, and follow-up. Manage technician schedules and help prioritize jobs based on customer needs and operational efficiency. Work with technicians to prepare accurate service estimates and communicate them to customers. Coordinate parts availability and expected timelines when needed. Ensure jobs are properly documented and followed through to completion. Coordinate with technicians to ensure jobs are completed professionally, on schedule, and in accordance with DuraFleet service standards. Performance Management & Reporting Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer activity records. Track key commercial and operating metrics, including leads, conversions, revenue, customer retention, and service activity. Participate in recurring performance reviews with the franchise owners. Provide visibility into sales opportunities, customer issues, technician capacity, and operational priorities. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience required. Account management, fleet, logistics, automotive, field service, or commercial transportation experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships, negotiate, and close business. Fluent English and Spanish required. Strong communicator — professional on the phone, sharp in writing, and reliable in person. Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. High degree of ownership and initiative; comfortable making decisions and solving problems without constant supervision. Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you will help build the operating playbook. Familiarity with CRM or job-management tools; Shopmonkey or similar experience is a plus. Valid Florida driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record. Offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory background and motor vehicle record checks.
