Associate Engineer

Responsible for supporting operations through completion of Engineering and Maintenance projects.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate all technical aspects of a project and component design utilizing the Process Change Request (PCR) system.
• Designs, validates, installs, and supports new equipment within the facility.
• Coordinates with and interfaces with other departments in support of the above.
• Provides continuous improvement through process improvement, proper root cause determination, and elimination of any issues noted.
• Provides technical support to all team members.

Education and Training

• Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required or in process.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Electrical or PLC experience a plus.

Physical Demands

• Frequent sitting and working at computer for extended periods of time.
• Occasional standing and walking on concrete.
• Occasional climbing stairs and fixed/vertical ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs.
• Ability to push/pull carts (minimal 25lbs) and parts (minimal 60lbs).
• Ability to drive as required.
• Ability to travel as required.

Environmental Conditions

• Exposure to manufacturing setting.
