About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President and Rocky Mountain Market Leader to spearhead its mission of creating and preserving affordable housing and community assets. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and results-oriented manager with a deep commitment to the mission and the communities served. This leadership role involves strategic assessment of local and state needs, delivering programmatic, policy, and capital solutions, and managing a high-capacity team. The role also requires a strong focus on fundraising, excellent relationship management, and a proven track record in fostering a positive, mission-driven culture. The Vice President and Market Leader will be responsible for driving the company's efforts to expand opportunity and strengthen the communities it serves, with a particular emphasis on racial equity. Applicants for the Vice President and Rocky Mountain Market Leader position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in relevant fields such as community development, public policy, government, banking and finance, nonprofit, or real estate development. A Master's degree in a related field is strongly desired. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in the affordable housing and community development sector, knowledge of housing finance, and experience in policy advocacy. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to engage with philanthropic donors. The role requires the ability to travel approximately 30% of the time and a commitment to the values of the company, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
