Medical Assistant

to support our client's healthcare facility in

Lake Success, NY 11042.

Job Details: Schedule:

8 hour shift between 7:45am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday Location:

$21-$23.40/hr. *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties: Triaging patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, patient histories, pharmacy, medication lists, setting up injections as needed, Ultrasound machine set up, phlebotomy when needed, specimen collection, preparing patients for examinations, as well as cleaning down and stocking exam rooms. You will also handle any paperwork when necessary and stay on top of the providers fax folder- incoming faxes, send out faxes, etc. Requirements:

Education:

high school diploma or GED Certification(s):

Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA or CCMA) preferred Years of experience:
