We are looking for lead installers that have experience installing both ductless and ducted heat pumps. In this key position, you will not only perform HVAC installations and service work, but also take the lead on project coordination, training junior technicians, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Task Outline

• Install and start up ducted and ductless heat pump systems with minimal supervision
• Perform ductwork installation, including fabrication of transitions, plenums, and small on-site adjustments
• Support involved installations and take ownership of portions of jobs, ensuring high-quality workmanship and crew efficiency
• Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet Ace standards, client needs and manufacturer specifications
• Identify and resolve basic issues during installation or startup phases
• Carry heavy HVAC equipment with your crew, including condensers and air handlers
• Run line sets using extension ladders and building exteriors
• Work in tight, challenging environments (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
• Perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions and temperatures
• Follow all company and industry safety guidelines and protocols
• Communicate effectively with customers, peers, and office supporProvide guidance

Service Area & Hours

• Boston metro area, north, south, and mostly inside I-495. Full time Monday - Friday.
• Ace can provide a work truck if needed
• Installer should have own tools
• Will most likely drive to jobs directly from home

Pay Range

• $45 - $60/hr depending on experience. Competitive pay with leadership bonus potential.
