Oncology Nurse Educator - Miami, FL

AbbVie seeks an experienced oncology nurse educator to provide clinical education and resources to allied healthcare professionals supporting patient management on approved cancer therapies. The role is field-based in the Miami/South Florida region, requiring proactive engagement with academic and community oncology teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized educational plans for oncology accounts based on clinical needs and patient care team challenges
• Educate healthcare professionals on patient identification, therapy roles, product administration, and adverse event management
• Deliver education through one-on-one presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations
• Document customer interactions, clinical insights, and educational activities while managing allocated resources
• Collaborate across internal teams and support training initiatives to enhance clinical competencies of sales staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD; Master's degree preferred
• Current active healthcare provider license
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience with recent hematology background
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice settings
• Strong presentation, communication, and clinical data interpretation skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel 50%
