Athletic Trainer - PRN

Overview Concentra is hiring an experienced PRN Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide healthcare support at an onsite clinic in Aurora, CO. The role will involve medical care for industrial injuries and employee health promotion. Responsibilities Provide basic first aid and treatment for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal injuries as per Physician Standing Orders. Identify, evaluate, and refer injured associates to appropriate clinicians. Respond to onsite medical emergencies following action plans. Assist in Workers’ Compensation case management. Collaborate with client HR on return-to-work and job placement. Track and report MSD statistics to stakeholders. Manage pre-Employment functional and vision testing. Coordinate injury prevention, ergonomic training, and job analyses. Create job rotation and pre-shift preventive activity plans. Implement rehabilitation treatment plans with exercise, modalities, and conditioning. Design and implement interventions for injury prevention. Administer drug and alcohol testing. Promote personal health and well-being. Analyze data for cost of musculoskeletal disorders. Provide monthly and annual rehab utilization and cost-savings reports. Complete administrative forms, reports, budgets, and expense tools. Communicate regularly with safety personnel. Attend meetings and serve on committees. Author articles for newsletters and intranet. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program. Current NATA Board of Certification Athletic Trainer. Active license to practice in the state of jurisdiction, if applicable. Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. Demonstrated clinical knowledge suitable for onsite setting. Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.
