Software Engineer

One of the top e-commerce powerhouse companies is looking for a Software Dev Engineer to join their Seattle, WA team!
Our client is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join their Business Team. This candidate will act as first-level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with merchandising applications. Your solutions will impact the customers directly!
Contract Duration: 10-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience Perl, C/C++ and/or Java
- Experience with Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, JAVA)
- Performing SQL queries
- Improving our systems that gather metrics on our features
- Updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges.
