Our culture is unique in that we offer the growth opportunities of a large company, but we still maintain that “small town feel” and community here at PAM.**About this opportunity** School Coordinators interact with students in our Driver Training Program. School Coordinators provide support to Students during their time on campus + keep track of paperwork, assign evaluation forms and tests, secure hotel and travel accommodations, and resolve issues as they arise. This position requires an individual who can multi-task, possesses outstanding customer service/data entry skills, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people.**Pay and Schedule**This position is fully on-site in Hammond, INMonday - Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PMThe pay range is $19-$22 an hour dependent on experience**Responsibilities*** Coordinate student activities, events, and programs to promote engagement and community involvement* Serve as a primary point of contact for students seeking support or information about campus resources* Assist in managing student records, registration processes, and scheduling needs with accuracy and confidentiality* Collaborate with faculty and staff to facilitate communication and address student concerns effectively* Support new student orientation sessions by providing guidance and ensuring a positive introduction to campus life* Maintain organized documentation of student participation, attendance, and feedback for continuous improvement* Promote an inclusive environment by encouraging participation from diverse student populations**Benefits:**Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance401KPaid Time OffOther Voluntary Benefits**How will you contribute to the success of the team?**Provide support and working with new students throughout their time in schoolWorking with new students to the program after they have completed CDL SchoolWorking with Travel and Hotel for support of StudentsAnswer questions related to performance and progression**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**:Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI knowledge.Multi-line Phone SystemsData Entry and Customer Service SkillDetail-orientedMulti-task and Problem SolvingAbility to Pivot and work with peopleOrganization and PreparednessProfessional AppearanceTrucking KnowledgeOptimistic and cheerful attitudeFamiliarity with AS400 is preferred but not required*The company will provide reasonable accommodations to employees who require them to perform the essential functions of their job to the extent it does not impose an undue hardship or create a risk of harm to the employee or others.**PAM Transport is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
