If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.**About The Opportunity**Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, equipment, physical structures, facilities and grounds by performing the following duties.**Responsibilities and Duties:*** Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.* Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.* Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.* Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.* Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.* Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.* Starts devices to test their performance.* Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.* Performs all electrical and hydraulic maintenance and repairs according to company and maintenance policies and procedures.* Performs miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as directed.* Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. **Reasoning Ability:**Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. **Physical Attributes:**While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb or balance, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. **Work Environment:**The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
