Our reputable construction company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Senior Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role will play a critical part in overseeing the daily operations of our construction sites, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Senior Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, from pre-construction planning to completion.
2. Ensuring that all construction operations are carried out in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
3. Leading and managing the on-site construction team, including subcontractors and laborers.
4. Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to determine project specifications.
5. Implementing and maintaining safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
6. Conducting regular site inspections to verify the quality of workmanship and materials.
7. Resolving any work-related issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
8. Preparing and delivering progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
9. Keeping abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for the role of Permanent Senior Superintendent will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction management role, preferably as a Senior Superintendent.
2. Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
6. Proficient in using construction management software.
7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Relevant certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Construction Supervisor License (CSL) would be a plus.
