Paralegal For Estate Planning Grimaldi Law Firm Hollywood, Florida, United States About this position We are looking for an energetic and experienced Florida Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team. Our main office is located in Hollywood, FL, and this position is an IN-OFFICE position only. We are a forward-thinking paperless Probate, Estate Planning, and Real Estate Law firm that is on track for huge growth, and we need an incredible multitasking human to join us in supporting our team and helping clients. We need someone with solid computer skills who loves the idea of working with state-of-the-art programs, applications, and software to make things more efficient. Benefits for qualified employees includes: PTO, IRA (matching), Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability insurance. Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 Responsibilities Organizing Files and moving them forward Docketing and scheduling events Drafting probate pleadings Drafting Estate Planning Documents: Wills, Trusts, Deeds, Durable Power of Attorney Communicating updates to clients and gathering information Helping attorneys prepare for signing meetings Weekly case management meetings and logging updates to case files Qualifications Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education Strong oral and written communication skills Must have great time-management skills and organizational skills Florida Probate paralegal for 2+ years preferred Florida Estate Planning paralegal for 2+ years required A high school diploma is required, but advanced training at a college or university is preferred Experience with document building software, WealthCounsel, and/or Westlaw Form Builder is required, but will consider candidates with similar software experience Experience with Clio Manage is preferred, but we will consider candidates with similar practice management software experience Experience with using Google Mail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar is preferred, and a plus but not required Type 70-100 WPM is required Spanish Speaker About Company Grimaldi Law Firm is a dedicated Estate Planning law firm committed to helping individuals and families protect their futures with confidence.
