Ginny Thompson State Farm is seeking an experienced, service-driven Customer Service Representative who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and creating a positive experience for every customer interaction.

Candidates who already hold active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance licenses are strongly preferred. Previous insurance industry experience, particularly within a State Farm agency or similar insurance environment, is also highly preferred.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service while also recognizing opportunities that may benefit customers and referring those opportunities to our sales team.

Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

• Active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licensing is strongly preferred
• Candidates with previous insurance or State Farm agency experience will receive strong consideration
• If not currently licensed, Property & Casualty licensing must be obtained prior to Day 1 in the office
• Life & Health licensing must be obtained within 45 days of starting
• Full licensing guidance and support is available for qualified candidates who need to complete remaining licensing requirements

Role Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you will help deliver the exceptional customer experience that supports the success of the agency. You will assist policyholders with service needs, resolve inquiries, and ensure customers receive accurate and timely support.

While this role is primarily service-focused, the ideal candidate will also be able to identify opportunities where customers may benefit from additional coverage and appropriately connect those opportunities with our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to new and existing policyholders
• Answer customer inquiries and explain policy information clearly
• Assist with policy changes, updates, billing questions, and coverage requests
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions
• Identify potential coverage opportunities and refer those leads to the sales team

Qualifications

• Active insurance licensing strongly preferred
• Previous insurance industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude
• Previous customer service experience
• Ability to complete any outstanding licensing requirements outlined above
