Accounts Receivable Specialist-Remote

Accounts Receivable Specialist (Remote) Work Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm (EST) Job Responsibilities Process/post AR from all assigned payers within expected Turnaround Time. Post AR and electronic remittance from private and government payers into the billing system. Research payer websites to obtain posting backup. Post electronic reports, macros and tools to balance files with money received. Identify issues and trends with assigned payers. Ensure aged accounts receivable is handled according to SOP. Communicate with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of remittance. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1 year or more accounts receivable experience. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more health insurance, medical claims, explanation of benefits, cash posting and billing experience. Additional Job Standards Meet weekly and monthly production goals after training. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Work experience in an office setting or administration. Manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity. Strong communication skills. Work-from-home or in-office experience. Pay Range $17.75 - $21.00 per hour (subject to skills, experience, etc.) Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD. 401(k) with company match. Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO). Eligible for benefits when regularly scheduled for 20+ hours per week; 401(k) for lower schedules; employees on 7 on/7 off receive all benefits except PTO/FTO.
