The Opportunity The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. He/she maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. Service Leaders are required to be on their feet while clocked in, unless on break. When not busy, they evaluate additional tasks to complete and assist others. What You’ll Do Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures, and perform the following responsibilities. Ensure great tasting, high‑quality food is served. Resolve food quality issues. Support food safety by ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures. Resolve customer incidents and work to ensure positive customer experiences. Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules. Develop and cross‑train all front‑of‑house crew. Assist with crew performance reviews. Develop future Service Leaders. Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash‑handling policies, and office paperwork. Maintain office equipment and order supplies as necessary. Ensure proper quantity of supplies is available as needed. What You’ll Bring To The Table Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy. Knowledge and experience in cash handling policies and procedures. Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters. Familiarity with office paperwork. Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
