Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers a chance to work onsite across welcoming schools in the Fremont, Ballard, Laurelhurst, and Sandpoint neighborhoods, partnering with colleagues and helping children thrive.

You’ll be part of a collaborative environment, serving moderate support needs caseloads and helping students in their crucial formative years. Assignments span 2-3 elementary schools per cluster, with weekly hours of 37.5 in Fremont/Ballard or 30 in Laurelhurst/Sandpoint, depending on your preference and schedule.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
• Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
• Experience or passion for working in school-based OT settings
• Ability to support students with moderate needs and collaborate with educators and families
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse learners

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct OT assessments and develop individualized plans for elementary students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support student participation and success
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services onsite
• Monitor and document progress, making adjustments as needed
• Contribute to a positive school environment and IEP process
