Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing physical therapy services to students during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. In this highly rewarding contract role, you’ll work on-site with a small caseload near Kent, WA, supporting students’ functional mobility, motor skills, and participation during their summer session.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington PT (Physical Therapist) license
- Current WA State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to provide effective therapy in a collaborative educational setting
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to a focused caseload of 10-15 students, Monday through Friday, five hours daily
- Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other specialists to support students’ physical development and educational outcomes
- Maintain clear and detailed service documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings as required and provide input on student progress during ESY
