Apply today!ResponsibilitiesSafety Program Implementation & ComplianceImplement and enforce site safety policies, procedures, and programs.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client safety standards, and site-specific requirements.Conduct routine site audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.Partner with project managers, subcontractors, and field supervisors to proactively resolve safety concerns.Serve as the primary safety liaison between project leadership, subcontractors, and clients.Maintain detailed documentation of safety inspections, permits, corrective actions, and compliance records.Develop and manage safety schedules for inspections, audits, and required training.Monitor safety metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Hazard Identification & Risk MitigationMaintain and enforce the Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan (SSHSP).Review and approve Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Pre-Task Plans (PTPs).Enforce PPE requirements, fall protection, electrical safety, and MEWP compliance.Develop emergency response procedures and coordinate emergency drills.Ensure subcontractors meet all safety requirements through ongoing audits and oversight.Coordinate with local emergency responders and medical personnel as needed.Incident Response & DocumentationLead investigations into incidents, injuries, and near misses.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Prepare detailed incident reports for project leadership and clients.Track trends and implement strategies to reduce future incidents.Ensure all reporting meets OSHA and client requirements.Training & Safety LeadershipConduct new hire and subcontractor safety orientations.Lead daily toolbox talks, weekly safety meetings, and safety stand-downs.Provide hands-on training in hazard recognition and emergency response.Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.Track safety KPIs including incident rates, audit scores, and near-miss reporting.Requirements5+ years of construction safety experience (data center experience strongly preferred).OSHA 510 Certification is REQUIRED.Strong knowledge of:OSHA construction standardsFall ProtectionMobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs)Electrical SafetyLockout/TagoutExperience leading safety programs on commercial or industrial construction projects.Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage both field personnel and project leadership.Strong organizational and documentation skills.Preferred QualificationsCHST or CSP CertificationCurrent First Aid/CPR/AED CertificationOSHA 500OSHA 3115 Fall ProtectionOSHA 7115 Lockout/TagoutNFPA 70E CertificationWhy Work with Next Level Technician?Competitive Salary: $100,000–$110,000 annuallyComprehensive benefits package including medical, PTO, and additional incentivesOpportunity to lead safety on a high-profile data center projectCareer advancement with one of the nation's leading low-voltage and data center staffing firmsDedicated recruiting and support team throughout your assignmentAbout Next Level TechnicianNext Level Technician connects experienced professionals with top-tier construction and data center projects across the United States.
