Title: Die Cut Operator

Shift: 3rd shift 9p-5a

Career Opportunity :

The Spartanburg, SC plant is seeking an experienced Die Cut Operator to join our production team for our second shift.

How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock:

*Responsible for setting up the machine for the production run, sheets, dies, etc.

*Operate the machine, following all standard operating procedures and instructions relevant to the job, position, and department accurately.

*Evaluate production quality and bring concerns to the appropriate lead or supervisor.

*Perform routine adjustments during the production run and maintain production throughout the run.

*Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule.

*Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety regulations.

*Contribute to quality investigations when necessary.

*Perform other job duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

*High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

*Previous die cut experience and printing capability required.

*Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

*Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.

*Ability to lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.

*Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and management.

*Maintain good attendance.
