Business Development Representative

Closr
Closr is hiring on behalf of an AI startup in New York City. The company builds AI agents that do real accounting work: reconciliations, journal entries, tax workbooks. It's backed by top-tier VCs, valued above $1B, and works with some of the largest accounting firms in the world. Growth so far has come entirely from inbound. This team is the company's first push into outbound, with 4 open BDR seats.
What you'll do:
- Cold call and email CFOs, controllers and finance leaders to book meetings
- Help write the outbound playbook from scratch, then build on what works
- Research and prioritize target accounts
- Work closely with AEs to turn meetings into pipeline
What we're looking for:
- 0 to 1 year of sales or outbound experience. New grads and career switchers are welcome.
- A background in competitive sports, a startup, or another high-intensity environment
- A 4-year bachelor's degree
- In the office 5 days a week in Flatiron, NYC (relocation is fine)
- US citizen or Green Card holder (no visa sponsorship)
Competitive base plus commission and equity, with a clear path into closing or leadership for top performers.
