About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technical Operations to oversee and support the critical programs that ensure the consistency, governance, productivity, and efficiency of its data centers. The successful candidate will be a leader in the Operations team, championing the company's principles of safety, team, availability, communication, and knowledge. Responsibilities include leading and coaching the technical operations team, collaborating with the operations leadership to enhance the technical operations program, and driving the development and implementation of maintenance, quality control, and safety process changes. The role also involves demonstrating technical knowledge in data center electrical and mechanical systems, being a subject matter expert in critical facilities maintenance, and leading the quality assessment program. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in data center critical operations, with a background in large 'hyperscale' operations. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is desired. The role requires a proven track record in building organizations, influencing executive stakeholders, and managing competing priorities. The Vice President will be measured on the development of a technical operations program, the reduction of operational risk, and the effectiveness of partnerships and governance. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a team builder, and a champion of continual improvement. The position is pivotal in the company's growth and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact.
