Office of the State Attorney, 18th Judicial Circuit, Brevard County. Salary: $70,000.00. Posting Closing Date: 06/30/2026. Responsibilities Prosecutorial criminal casework. Conduct legal research and writing. Conduct depositions and interview witnesses, victims, and law enforcement to prepare cases for prosecution. Trial work includes case preparation, jury selection, examining and cross-examining witnesses, opening statements, and closing arguments for trial. Proficient management of casework. The ability to use office computer software and equipment. Qualifications Possess a law degree from an accredited law school Member of The Florida Bar in good standing Knowledge of criminal laws and procedures Ability to manage a high-volume caseload Commitment to public service and protecting the rights of victims Desired Skills The ability to efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment and present a professional and helpful demeanor. Microsoft Office experience including Word and Excel.
