As an SLP specializing in pediatrics and school-based therapy, you will assess, diagnose, and implement individualized plans for students with various speech, language, and communication challenges. Your expertise will empower students throughout their academic journey.

Qualifications:

• Current and active New Mexico Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in K-12 or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based SLP processes
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to supporting the growth and development of students

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across the K-12 age range
• Evaluate students to determine speech/language needs and develop IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists for comprehensive support
• Monitor and document progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal guidelines for school-based therapy
