Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a real difference in the lives of K-12 students as a contract Speech Language Pathologist supporting a charter school community near Los Lunas, NM. Use your expertise to help children and adolescents develop essential communication skills in a dynamic educational environment. Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred with a background working in schools or with school-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students across the K-12 age range
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support students in achieving their academic goals
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary team planning
- Provide support and resources to staff and families about speech and language development
