The ideal candidate will have a strong carpentry and siding installation background, specifically James Hardie, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed. Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials (e.g., steel girt, insulation, Tyvek) according to measurements. Fabricate and prep metal trims using raw materials or pre-constructed items. Learn to operate machinery like man lifts, sky tracks, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. Qualifications Previous experience as a Carpenter/Siding Installer is preferred Experience with James Hardie, vinyl siding, metal panel, and composite metal panel siding is a bonus Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
