Material Handler

Pay Range $20+/hour (depending on experience) Job Summary The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. Duties/Responsibilities Assist Fabrication in sourcing auxiliary items: hardware from maintenance shop, machine inserts, installing blinds to structures, etc. Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids). Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment. Return necessary product to stock; finished goods, leftover materials, excess materials, etc. Assist the Shipping and Receiving Department as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good math and written communication skills. Efficient time management skills. Forklift experience. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.
