Organization Hyatt Regency Savannah Responsibilities The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for assisting in the oversight of all food and beverage areas, including Restaurants and Bars. This requires a solid understanding of food and beverage service standards and will ensure all policies and procedures are followed. Experience with food and beverage service in restaurants, banquets, special events, and maintaining guest satisfaction is helpful. These responsibilities may also include staff training, development, and scheduling. The Assistant Operations Manager promotes an atmosphere that ensures customer and colleague satisfaction. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments, and team members. It also provides exposure to other operational areas to promote growth and cross‑development of talent with operational departments.
