Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Representative to develop new business and manage relationships with existing customers. This role focuses on commercial truck, industrial, agricultural, OTR/earthmover, retread, and new tire sales, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend tire and service solutions.
• Conduct fleet surveys, scrap tire analysis, and tire maintenance programs.
• Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, and account development.
• Prepare and present customer proposals and negotiate/close sales.
• Maintain weekly call reports and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Partner with the service department to ensure customer needs are met.
• Travel locally to customer locations and safely operate a company vehicle.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Take on additional responsibilities as business needs arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of tire sales experience preferred.
• Proven success developing new accounts and closing sales.
• Strong understanding of the sales process and negotiation.
• Demonstrated leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn systems such as AS400, SAP, and BTN.
• Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong driving record and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, coworkers, and other departments.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
