Trusts & Estates Associate

An excellent opportunity for a Trusts & Estates Associate to join the Private Clients practice of a highly regarded US law firm in Boston. Our client is seeking an attorney with 3–4 years of experience in trusts and estates to advise high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners on sophisticated estate planning, wealth preservation and tax planning matters. This is an opportunity to join an established team handling complex private wealth matters, with exposure to a broad range of estate planning work and the opportunity to develop your technical expertise and client relationships. The Role Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies. Draft wills, trusts and other estate planning documents. Advise on estate, gift and income tax planning, including tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies. Assist with trust and estate administration. Advise on lifetime gifting, charitable giving and succession planning. Work with clients and other professional advisers to develop tailored solutions for complex private wealth matters. Build and maintain strong client relationships while working collaboratively with colleagues across the practice. About You 3–4 years of relevant trusts and estates experience. Experience advising high-net-worth clients on estate planning and related tax matters. A strong grounding in wills, trusts, estate planning and trust and estate administration. Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills. A client-focused approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Admission to the Massachusetts Bar, or eligibility and willingness to obtain admission. The Opportunity Join an established Private Clients practice at a highly regarded law firm.
