Working onsite, you’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals and provide direct support for students requiring personal care and safety assistance.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar student support role highly valued
• Willingness to provide personal care and safety support to students
• Punctuality, flexibility, and strong communication skills
• Comfort with following teacher direction and adapting to classroom needs
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to complete within the first 10 school days)
• CPI training preferred (will be scheduled after hire if not already completed)
• Openness to working with students in Autistic Support classrooms
• Ability to complete all required clearances and documentation
• Must provide references and a current resume for consideration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Assist with instructional tasks and classroom routines
• Offer hands-on support to students, including personal care when needed
• Help implement behavior management plans and safety protocols
• Encourage student engagement, independence, and social skills development
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to ensure every student’s needs are met

This contract position provides you the chance to shape daily experiences for students, with a consistent full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:50am–3:50pm, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch). Compensation for this role will be $22 per hour.
