Brand Strategist

You'll work alongside UX designers, writers, developers, and project managers to help organizations define who they are and how they show up online. This is a senior role. You'll lead client relationships, run workshops, and produce the strategy work yourself.
- Lead brand discovery: stakeholder interviews, workshops, competitive research, and positioning
- Conduct user and market research to understand audience motivations and unmet needs
- Build brand platforms: mission, vision, values, voice, messaging hierarchy, and narrative
- Translate brand strategy into digital execution, including sitemaps, wireframes, and content frameworks
- Partner with design and content teams to keep brand intent consistent through creative development
- Present work to clients, facilitate decisions, and manage feedback with confidence
- Contribute to proposals and new business development
- Look for ways to improve how the strategy team works
- 10+ years developing brand strategy, ideally in an agency setting
- Experience running user research, including surveys and focus groups
- Comfortable producing strategy documentation: personas, user journeys, competitive analysis, content frameworks
- Strong presenter. You can walk a client through a recommendation and hold the room.
- Experience with mission-driven or nonprofit clients is a plus
