Growing, experienced, small firm seeking a Systems Designer to work on exciting Commercial / Institutional Projects. 27th June, 2026 $70,000 - 110,000 We are seeking a Systems Designer to join our team of low‑voltage and door hardware experts. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and documentation of low‑voltage systems on commercial & institutional projects. This includes telecommunications, electronic security (access control, etc.), audio/visual, and building automation systems. Our systems designers collaborate with cross‑functional teams and take projects from concept through construction, ensuring systems are reliable, cost‑effective, scalable, and compliant with all applicable codes and standards. Responsibilities Design and develop low‑voltage system plans, risers, and details using AutoCAD, Revit, and/or BIM software Prepare project specifications and technical reports Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans to coordinate low‑voltage system integration Perform load calculations, device layout, and routing for cabling infrastructure Coordinate low‑voltage designs with other engineering disciplines, architects, and consultants Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide support during construction administration Conduct site surveys and field investigations Qualifications Required 5 years of experience designing low‑voltage systems using 3D modeling tools Proficiency in Revit Familiarity with codes and standards such as NFPA, NEC, BICSI, and TIA/EIA Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Preferred qualifications RCDD or CTS certification Experience with construction administration or commissioning Knowledge of project management software (e.g., Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, eBuilder) Benefits $70k-110k/yr + bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid holidays and PTO #J-18808-Ljbffr
