The 18,000-square-foot facility features state-of-the-art emergency healthcare serving the residents of East Orange County open 24-7. The 24-bed ED includes an urgent care track to diagnose and treat non-emergent cases more efficiently, an observation unit to closely monitor care for up to 24 hours, and offers emergent care supported by ground transportation if specialty care is needed. Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week Shift: Days, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm (with weekend rotation) Primary Job Responsibilities: Monitor performance of nursing staff, provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to ensure clinical and professional standards are met. Foster professional growth by identifying training needs, organizing educational programs, and mentoring staff to enhance their skills and career progression. Resolve conflicts among staff promptly and effectively using mediation techniques to maintain a positive work environment and ensure team cohesion. Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care. What You'll Need to Succeed: Associate of Science degree in Nursing Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements - Pay Range: $33.99 - $63.22 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
