The chosen analyst will be part of a diverse team that analyzes customer financial conditions and authorize credit lines. Collect on delinquent accounts to maximize cash flow and reduce losses.Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):Thoroughly review and process credit applicationsAssess credit risk and establish credit limits up to $10K– for new and/or current customersUse D&B reports, trade references, financial documents, history and online dataSecure prompt payment from customersNegotiate customer disputes to resolutionEffectively collaborate with internal PVS groupsCash application group to ensure accuracy of aging reportCustomer service to resolve invoicing disputes and gather necessary paperworkPVS sales team on severely delinquent accountsPerform all tasks as assigned by supervisor and/or corporate treasurerSupport the values of the company provided in the guiding principles in the Nicholson NineRequired education / training / equivalent experience (prior to hire / transfer):College coursework and/or 2 years' experience focused on bookkeeping or accounting.Knowledge of accounts receivable and receipts application systems.Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle a diverse and significant workloadCommunication skills – ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, in writing, e-mails, and verbally.Effective work skills – conscientious, persistent, resourceful, productive and active.Willingness to take ownership and drive resultsGenerate Excel worksheets to maintain data and analyze trendsWorks accurately and quickly under operational deadlinesAbility to operate computer hardware and to work with software applicationsOJT (required within the initial employment period)Ability to collaborate with vendors, customers and associates in an efficient and professional manner.Must exercise a high level of confidentiality in handling corporate financial and customer information.ADAGE skillsAnalyze D&B reportsGather and analyze documents for credit approval processWork with customer to secure timely paymentsCollaborate with respective PVS departments to resolve customer account concernsTactfully negotiate payment plans with customer where necessaryBenefits include:Paid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision coverageLife insuranceShort term disabilityHealth savings account401K matchingPVS values diversity and is committed to upholding the laws and regulations published by the equal employment opportunity commission.
