Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon licensed in Michigan for emergency department call coverage at a Level III trauma hospital in Hancock, Michigan. This locum tenens role involves providing trauma, fracture, sports injury, and general orthopaedic care, with expertise in total joints. The surgeon will handle sick and complicated patients, collaborate with orthopaedic PAs, and manage wound care in a digital radiology environment.

Clinical Scope

• Emergency Department call coverage for trauma, fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopaedics
• No spine cases included
• Skilled in total joints and general orthopaedics
• Managing wound care in partnership with General Surgeons
• Handling sick and complicated patients
• Working with orthopaedic PAs
• Fully digital radiology department

Requirements

• Active Michigan medical license
• Active MI CDS registration
• Active MI DEA registration
• Board certification with ABOS
• Experience in trauma and general orthopaedics preferred
