C3 Workforce is hiring an experienced Die Setter for a plastics manufacturer in the Livonia area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable company on day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and change over dies on injection molding or stamping presses
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and setup sheets
• Perform first-piece inspections to verify dimensions and quality
• Adjust press settings (tonnage, speed, pressure) to achieve proper part quality
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on dies and tooling
• Communicate with production and quality teams on any tooling issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of die setting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
• Experience with injection molding or stamping presses preferred
• Forklift experience a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Steel-toed boots required on day one
